OUR HISTORY
Steel has been built into the blood of Charles Most Jr., owner of Baltimore Steel Erectors, since childhood. His father, Charles Most Sr., (1931-2007) was a retired union ironworker, apprenticeship coordinator for the ironworkers, and a teacher for the international association. Charles Most Jr. followed in his father's footsteps and joined the union ironworkers in 1971. Gaining experience from his father, fellow ironworkers, and the companies he worked as an apprentice and journeyman for, he was able to start a small erection company, Baltimore Steel Erectors, Inc. with his brother Kenneth Most. The company was run out of the garage at Charles’ home in Perry Hall, Maryland. In 1981, Charles took over sole ownership of the company, which has grown into the well-recognized steel fabrication company it is today.
